Jade is an artist working primarily in oil pastel and oil paint. Her work focuses on people in nature and elements of nature, with an emphasis on a stylistic, unfinished approach rather than strict realism.

She began her creative practice in photography, spending several years working in a film lab and photo studio before later freelancing as a photographer. Photography remains an important part of her work, particularly through experimental processes such as Polaroid, cyanotype printing, and processing and scanning film at home. This exploration of analog processes eventually led her to visual art, with oil pastel and oil painting becoming her primary mediums. Her photographic background continues to influence her approach, shaping the way she observes light, composition, and her subjects.

In addition to her art practice and technical experience, she holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She brings both creative and strategic thinking to freelance and in-house creative work.
